Tragic Passing of Young Boy, Zev Fried, in Williamsburg

In a heartbreaking incident that occurred last night shortly after 1 a.m., a young boy tragically passed away despite valiant efforts to save him.

The 20 month old baby, Zev, son of Yakov Yona Fried, went into cardiac arrest, and Hatzolah responded swiftly, doing everything they could to resuscitate him. Sadly, the baby passed away.

The levaya took place today at 1 p.m. at the Yereiyim Chapel.
