USPS Office “Too Busy” To Accept Packages

USPS Office “Too Busy” To Accept Packages

By Idy Perl

Williamsburg residents are confused and upset about recent interactions at the USPS office at 609 Myrtle Ave.

The USPS workers have informed customers over the last few days that they’re currently too busy to accept large packages and boxes and will be pausing that service for the time being. Customers are forced to go to USPS locations further away in order to ship their packages.

They’ve also warned customers that they will be busy during the holiday season, but no, they don’t mean Tishrei. They will be busy from now until after the November-December holiday season, so try not to have any large packages that need shipping for the next few months.
