Williamsburg Residents Share More Incidents Regarding Myrtle Ave USPS Office

By Williamsburg 365 Staff
Following our article yesterday about the USPS office at 609 Myrtle Ave that has told patrons that they’re too busy to accept large packages, Wiliamsburg365 received multiple messages from Williamsburg residents sharing their experiences at this specific USPS location.
One resident, who frequently visits the post office, recounted that last week he brought regular mail, not packages, only to be told they couldn’t accept it.
"The clerk spoke to me like I was an animal," he said. "She was extremely disrespectful and rude, and told me to take my mail elsewhere."
Many other customers shared similar stories of poor service, with one person being told, "Sorry, we’re too busy today to serve more customers."
Several complaints focused on the clerks' dismissive attitudes, behavior not expected in any office, especially one run by the government.
Williamsburg residents are increasingly concerned about the behavior and mismanagement at this local post office, a critical service for the community. While many individuals initially believed these issues were single incidents, as the discussion has been brought to the forefront by Williamsburg365, people are now sharing numerous similar stories of frustration and disappointment.
