Wild Turkey in Williamsburg

By Idy Perl

Chaverim received a call today about a wild turkey roaming the streets in Williamsburg.

The turkey was running after people and scaring pedestrians necessitating swift action to address the situation and ensure public safety.

Chaverim arrived on scene and was able to secure the turkey before calling ESU. When ESU tried grabbing the turkey it flew off into a tree and out of reach. Eventually they were able to rush it out of the neighborhood.
