Water Shutdown Scheduled on Harrison Avenue and Union Avenue This Friday

A scheduled water shutdown is planned for late Thursday night into Friday from 12:00 AM to 4:00 AM.

The temporary interruption is needed to allow crews to replace both an 8-inch and a 20-inch water main. As part of the process, valves will also be opened and closed to make sure they are functioning properly.

The work is expected to take place along Harrison Avenue between Walton Street and Middleton Street, as well as at the intersection of Union Avenue and Harrison Avenue.

Residents in the affected areas should be prepared for a temporary loss of water service during those hours. Service is expected to return once the installation work is completed.

A final confirmation of the shutdown is expected to be issued approximately 24 hours in advance.
