Upcoming Closures On Williamsburg Bridge

Construction on the Williamsburg Bridge will cause lane closures starting next week on Monday, May 26th, through June 2nd. At least one lane in both directions will be open at all times to allow for the flow of traffic. 

The walkway and bikeway will continue to be narrowed at the work zones, and pedestrians and bicyclists are urged to use caution. 

Between 5am on Monday, May 26, and 5am the next Monday, June 2nd, one lane on the Brooklyn bound side will be closed continuously. 

Tuesday to Friday, May 27- May 30, one lane will be closed on both the Brooklyn and Manhattan bound sides of the bridge between the hours of 10am-3pm.
