Today! Community Meeting To Discuss Wallabout Street Concerns
By Idy Perl
As reported recently, the NYC DOT will be hosting a community meeting where residents will be able
to discuss their concerns regarding the section of Wallabout Street between
Classon Avenue and Marcy Avenue.
The meeting comes after community askan Rabbi Naftule Moshe
Indig of WJCC suggested that the street be made into a one-way due to the
traffic congestion and safety issues.
Residents are now invited to share their thoughts and
opinions, which will shape how the DOT approaches the issue.
The meeting will be held at the Pointe Plaza Hotel, located
at 2 Franklin Ave, from 6pm-8pm.
