By Williamsburg 365 Staff

Williamsburg is gearing up for an especially historic and holy Shabbos as the Chernobyl Rebbe arrives for his first Shabbos visit to the neighborhood in 17 years, drawing major anticipation across the chassidishe world.

The Rebbe last spent Shabbos in Williamsburg in 2009, and this long-awaited return is already creating a widespread enthusiasm, with thousands expected to come for tefillos, the tisch, and the Shabbos atmosphere.

The visit will take place this week, Parshas Shemos, with the tefilos and tishen hosted at Eden Palace Halls.

Schedule:

  • Friday: Mincha & Kabbalas Shabbos — 5:15 PM
  • Friday Night Tisch: 9:30 PM
  • Shabbos Morning Shacharis: 9:30 AM
  • Shabbos Afternoon: Mincha & Shalosh Seudos — 5:00 PM

With such a rare appearance in Williamsburg, organizers and chassidim alike are describing this Shabbos as a moment that will be remembered for years - a chance for the community to experience the Rebbe’s presence up close, together, after nearly two decades.
