BREAKING: Two People Found Dead Inside Vehicle on Monroe Street

Two people were found unresponsive inside a vehicle Thursday afternoon after a 911 call reported an unconscious person at Marcus Garvey Blvd & Monroe St, within the 79th Precinct.

According to the NYPD, the call came in at approximately 1:06 p.m. Responding officers located two unresponsive individuals inside the vehicle -a 49-year-old and a 39-year-old.

EMS responded to the scene, where both individuals were pronounced dead.

The area was temporarily closed off as investigators work at the location. Authorities have not released additional details at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing.
