After relentless work by Shomrim and the NYPD, the suspect behind the Yom Tov break-in at the Satmar Butcher on Lee Ave and Ross Street was apprehended today in the Bronx. He is estimated to have stolen $20,000 from the establishment.

Detectives from the NYPD’s 90th Precinct and the Burglary Squad, along with Williamsburg Shomrim, played a key role in the investigation.

Shomrim volunteers gathered surveillance footage from numerous cameras, which helped lead to the suspect’s identification and arrest.
