Satmar Rebbe Departs on Brief Trip to Florida for Bikur Cholim

The Satmar Rebbe traveled earlier today on a short trip to Miami, Florida, to be mevaker choleh the well-known philanthropist R’ Yisroel Dov Goldberger who is currently hospitalized there.

The Rebbe departed from his residence this morning and traveled to Teterboro Airport, from where he flew by private plane to Florida. The visit is expected to last several hours, after which the Rebbe will return to Williamsburg.

Despite the busy schedule in the days leading up to an upcoming family wedding, the Rebbe chose to make the trip in order to personally visit and offer chizuk to the choleh.

The Rebbe is expected to return later today to prepare for the upcoming simcha, which will take place tomorrow in Williamsburg.
