Roadwork Underway on Heyward Street as Part of Widespread Street Repairs
By Williamsburg 365 Staff
The NYC Department of Transportation has begun milling work on Heyward Street, stretching from Bedford Avenue to Wallabout Street, as part of a broader effort to repave multiple streets across Williamsburg.
This marks the beginning of what is expected to be a series of street repair projects, as previously reported by Williamsburg365. Heyward Street was closed to traffic, with towing operations underway to clear the path for heavy machinery.
Residents are urged to stay informed and keep an eye out for “No Parking” signs in their area to avoid unnecessary headaches and potential towing. The milling work is the first step before new asphalt is laid down in the coming days.
