Refinery at Domino Hits 90% Full as Office Space Keeps Filling Up

The Refinery at Domino in Williamsburg is now about 90% full, showing strong demand for office space in the area.

The project is part of Domino Park and sits inside the old Domino Sugar Factory, which is 167 years old. The building was fully updated and reopened in 2023 after a large $150 million renovation.

Developer Two Trees Management originally planned to lease nearly 500,000 square feet of the historic structure to one large tenant. That plan did not work out, but the building has filled up in a different way, with many smaller companies moving in instead.

New tenants include Bandana, a Brooklyn job search company, which signed a 10,000 square foot lease. Skylight, which runs event spaces, also added more office space.

Other companies in the building include Whop, Plastic Lab, LayerZero, and Minerva. The gym company Equinox is the largest non-office tenant, using 42,000 square feet.
