Overnight Water Shutoff Scheduled

Residents in parts of Williamsburg should prepare for a temporary water service shutdown early Friday morning.

Water will be turned off from 12:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. to allow crews to install new 8-inch and 20-inch water mains.

The shutdown will affect:

• Lee Avenue between Lorimer Street and Flushing Avenue
• Wallabout Street between Lee Avenue and Bedford Avenue
• Wallabout Street between Lee Avenue and Marcy Avenue
• Walton Street between Wallabout Street and Marcy Avenue

Water service will be restored as soon as the installation is complete.
