Mark Levine Receives Powerful Endorsement From Williamsburg, Crown Heights, Queens and Flatbush Jewish Communities

This afternoon, a significant development unfolded in the race for New York City Comptroller as current Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine racked up a major endorsement from the leaders Satmar community in Williamsburg, who represent a bloc vote of thousands of voters in the community. 

A longtime friend to the Jewish community, Levine has been a partner and an address for Jewish community leaders throughout the city for many years now. He has been a leading voice in fighting anti-Semitism, especially since October 7 and the subsequent rise in hateful incidents against our community. 

This would explain the similar endorsements from the Lubavitch community of Crown Heights, the esteemed Flatbush Jewish Community Council, the Queens Jewish Alliance, the Far Rockaway Jewish Alliance, as well as a host of elected officials considered friendly to our community. 

In their endorsement, the Satmar kehillah extolled Levine’s fighting for our community throughout the years, even when many forces were arrayed against us. 

In the time remaining to the election (June 24), community leaders will work to bring out the community to their polling places, and elect Mr. Levine as the next Comptroller of the City of New York.
