Heavy Rain Storm Causing Mayhem and Flooding

By Y.M. Lowy

Today’s rainstorm is shaking things up in Williamsburg. Streets are flooded, sidewalks are overflowing, and damage is visible throughout the neighborhood.

Several large trees have fallen in multiple locations, causing damage to property and blocking sidewalks. Crews worked quickly to remove branches and clear the pathways, ensuring pedestrians could pass safely. The storm also caused property damage. In addition to flooding in many stores and houses.

It’s definitely a messy day in Williamsburg. Flooded streets, downed trees, and busted traffic lights are making travel tough. Volunteers and first responders are out in force, keeping people safe and clearing hazards as the rain continues.
