Councilmember Restler Keeps Brooklyn Clean

By Idy Perl

Councilmember Lincoln Restler took to X, formerly Twitter, to tell residents that they can reach out any time they have a problem with garbage disposal.

He relayed on X that PS 54, right near the Heimishe neighborhood in Williamsburg, reached out to his office to report some large pieces of garbage that were found on the sidewalk in front of their building. Restler reached out to the sanitation department on their behalf, and the problem was immediately taken care of.

"If there are streets in your neighborhood that need extra cleaning, reach out to our office for help", the Councilmember wrote.
