Chaverim Leadership Visits Local Law Enforcement Before Pesach
By Williamsburg 365 Staff
In the days leading up to Pesach, Chaverim leadership conducted a series of visits to NYPD precincts across Brooklyn North to coordinate safety plans for the holiday and reinforce strong working relationships with law enforcement.
Among the key meetings was a visit with Chief Scott Henderson, Brooklyn North Borough Commander, as well as members of the NYPD Community Affairs Bureau. Chaverim also met with the Commanding Officers of the 79th, 90th, 88th, and 94th Precincts.
Discussions focused on safety logistics for Pesach, including traffic coordination, and addressing the unique needs of the community during the holiday season.
These visits also highlighted Chaverim’s ongoing partnership with the NYPD—providing non-emergency assistance, search-and-rescue support, and working hand-in-hand with officers throughout the year.
These annual meetings reflect Chaverim’s continued commitment to community safety and preparedness, ensuring a secure and smooth Pesach for all.
