Two Honda Pilots Stolen Overnight in Williamsburg; NYPD and Shomrim Investigating

Two Honda Pilot SUVs were stolen overnight in Williamsburg, prompting a joint investigation by the NYPD and Williamsburg Shomrim.
Both vehicles were taken from different blocks within minutes of each other around 2 a.m. Tuesday morning. In both cases, residents discovered shattered glass where their cars had been parked.
The stolen vehicles are described as:
- Gray Honda Pilot – NY plate KKL-4921
- Black Honda Pilot – NY plate LEE-5242
Investigators believe a single suspect is responsible for both thefts. Surveillance footage from Bedford Avenue captured a masked individual entering one of the vehicles shortly after 2 a.m. Shomrim is reviewing additional footage from nearby homes and businesses to track the suspect’s movements.
“We believe both thefts were carried out by the same person in a coordinated fashion,” said a Shomrim coordinator. “We’re working closely with the NYPD to identify and locate the suspect.”
Authorities are urging residents to remain alert, lock their vehicles, and consider using additional anti-theft measures such as steering wheel locks or GPS trackers.
Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the 90th Precinct or Williamsburg Shomrim’s 24-hour hotline.
