Breaking: One Dead, Two Injured in Dekalb Ave Shooting

Multiple shots were fired on Monday afternoon at 456 Dekalb Avenue, around 5:20pm, leaving one person dead on arrival and two others critically injured.

The shooting has prompted a massive response from the NYPD, with numerous units on the scene actively searching for the suspect, who remains at large.

According to the NYPD, a 32-year-old male was shot in the head, and pronounced dead at the scene, the other two victims were also male. A 26-year-old suffered injuries to the abdomen and shoulder, and a 33-year-old suffered injuries to the torso. Both were transported to New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in critical condition.

The area has been cordoned off as detectives launch a full-scale investigation. The full identities of the victims have not yet been released, and no further details about the suspect have been provided at this time.
