Police are investigating after a vandal spray-painted swastikas and hateful messages on four school buses in Williamsburg early Monday morning

The antisemitic vandalism took place at about 5 AM at Bedford Avenue and Williamsburg Street West. The buses belong to Satmar, Sanz Klausenburg, and Tiferes Yisrael. The graffiti included swastikas, vulgar and hateful anti-Jewish and anti-Israel messages, and the phrases "America First" and "Free Palestine."

The NYPD's 90th Precinct is investigating, along with the NYPD Hate Crime Task Force. Williamsburg Shomrim and the NYPD are working to obtain video footage from the area to identify the person responsible.

Williamsburg Shomrim coordinator Yanky Itzkowitz told Williamsburg 365 that the NYPD is taking the incident very seriously and is committing all necessary resources to the investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Williamsburg Shomrim hotline or the NYPD's Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.

No arrests have been reported so far. The antisemitic vandalism took place the day before Election Day.

This is a developing story.
