Yingerman Describes Terrifying Road Rage Encounter on the BQE
By Y.M. Lowy
A Williamsburg Yingerman driving on the BQE experienced a frightening ordeal late at night when a group of men in another car tried to force him off the road and damage his vehicle.
The incident occurred around 10 p.m. when the driver noticed a car following him aggressively. Suddenly, the men pulled up beside him and tried to break off his side mirrors, swerving dangerously close to his vehicle. As the situation escalated, they cornered him against a wall, blocking his car and preventing any escape.
The men banged on his windows and demanded that he get out of his car while attempting to damage it. Trapped and terrified, the driver remained inside, unable to move for about 20 minutes. In a desperate move, he managed to call 911, reporting the attack as it unfolded.
"I don’t think I’ve ever been as scared as I was yesterday," the Yingerman shared with Williamsburg365. "I came inches away from crashing into them at least 20 times."
"I also got a few speeding tickets from the traffic cameras while trying to escape", he added.
"As soon as I finally managed to get off the highway, I realized just how close I came to a fatal accident."
