WJCC Voucher Initiative on Pesach Groceries
By Y.M. Lowy
The Williamsburg Jewish Community Council has launched a new initiative to help families prepare for Pesach with a significant discount on groceries. Through the program, families can receive vouchers that provide 50% off purchases at Chestnut Grocery in Williamsburg, easing the financial strain that often comes with Yom Tov preparations.
The discount applies to orders up to $700, allowing participants to pay only half the total cost. This initiative helps families fill their pantries with Pesach essentials without the usual financial pressure.
Applications for the program can be submitted at the JCC office, located at 814 Bedford Avenue, from Monday to Thursday.
