Williamsburg Fire and Police Officers Commemorate September 11

By Idy Perl
Several fire and police stations in Williamsburg are commemorating September 11 and the first responders who died on that dark day.
This morning, at the time when the two planes crashed into the Twin Towers, events were held to honor the firefighters of their respective stations who lost their lives in the terror attack. The names of the firefighters who gave their lives to save others were read out loud to honor their memory.
The local police department held an event as well to remember the officers who died on that day in front of the Precincts.
