A Williamsburg family is lucky to be alive following their involvement in an accident in the wee hours of Motzei Shabbos.

It happened at around 2:30am, when the family was on the NJ-17 in the Monsey area, on the way home to Williamsburg, when a drunk driver crashed into their vehicle with a strong impact.

Monsey Hatzolah responded with multiple ambulances, transporting the family for observation at Hackensack Medical Center.

While their vehicle was severely damaged in the accident, the family emerged unscathed, and at 6:30 they were all discharged from the hospital.

Shomrim members came to the fore, and transported the entire family to their Williamsburg home where they’re currently grateful to be safe and sound.
