Williamsburg Bridge Lane Closures Scheduled This Week

Construction on the Williamsburg Bridge continues to impact traffic as part of NYCDOT’s ongoing maintenance and rehabilitation project. Rolling single lane closures are scheduled for November 18 and 19.

On the Manhattan-bound and Brooklyn-bound roadways, one lane at a time will be closed:

• Tuesday, November 18, from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

• Wednesday, November 19, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

At least one lane in each direction will remain open at all times to keep traffic moving. The bridge’s walkway and bikeway may be narrowed at certain work zones for up to fifty feet. Pedestrians and cyclists are urged to use caution while crossing.
