Williamsburg Bridge Lane Closures Scheduled Next Weekend

Construction on the Williamsburg Bridge will continue to impact traffic as part of NYCDOT’s ongoing maintenance and rehabilitation project. Single lane closures are scheduled from December 13th to 15th.

On the Brooklyn-bound roadways:

Outer Roadway: Single lane continuous closure from 7:00 a.m. on Shabbos, December 13, to 7:00 a.m. on Monday, December 15.

The bridge’s walkway and bikeway will be narrowed at work zones for up to fifty feet during weekday work hours, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Pedestrians and cyclists are urged to use caution while crossing.

At least one lane in each direction will remain open at all times to keep traffic moving
