Watch Out: Google Maps Mistake on Skillman Street

By Y.M. Lowy

If you’re heading to Skillman Street in Williamsburg, double-check your destination before hitting the road. A number of addresses on Skillman Street are mistakenly leading people to Long Island when entered into Google Maps.

This issue has created a series of problems, especially for those relying on the app for deliveries or rides. People have found themselves stuck with delayed or misdirected orders, and drivers have been led far out of their way. The mix-up has caused extra costs and frustration, as some deliveries and Ubers end up going miles off track.
