Two People Shot on Lexington Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Police Searching for Suspect

A shooting incident in Bedford-Stuyvesant left two people injured Tuesday night near 380 Lexington Avenue, at the intersection with Tompkins Avenue.

Officers from the NYPD’s 79th Precinct and EMS units responded quickly after shots were fired. Two victims were found with gunshot wounds and were rushed to a nearby hospital. Their conditions are currently unknown.

The suspect fled the scene, and police have established a crime scene as the investigation continues.
