Traffic Advisory: BQE Entrance by Williamsburg St. East Fully Closed Due to Construction

Traffic disruptions are currently impacting drivers in Williamsburg as the entrance and exit to the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway at Williamsburg Street East is completely closed due to ongoing construction.

The closure, which began early this week, is part of a broader infrastructure repair effort targeting aging sections of the BQE. Crews are working around the clock beneath the Lee Avenue overpass and nearby stretches, leading to full shutdowns of access ramps and portions of the expressway.
