Thieves Steal $300K in Clothing from Store
By Y.M. Lowy
A clothing business just steps from the heart of heimishe Williamsburg was hit with a major theft early Tuesday morning, with over $300,000 worth of merchandise stolen.
Police say four suspects used a crowbar to break through the glass front door of the store, located at 17 Kent Avenue. Once inside, they made off with hundreds of thousands of dollars in clothing before fleeing the scene in a white Range Rover.
The store sits right near the busy Williamsburg waterfront, not far from the heimishe community’s main shopping areas.
