The Pupa Rebbe to Spend Shabbos in Monsey
By Y.M. Lowy
The Pupa Rebbe will be spending an uplifting Shabbos together with his chassidim in Monsey.
This will mark four years since the Rebbe last spent a Shabbos in the city, during the grand reopening of the magnificent Beis Medrash Hagadol Kehilas Yaakov Pupa at the corner of Suzanne and Leon Drive.
Over the past few years, the Pupa kehillah in Monsey has expanded significantly, with additional shtieblach opening in various neighborhoods. Preparations are now underway to once again receive the Rebbe with great honor, as he is expected to arrive for a visit of several days and tour the mosdos of the kehillah throughout the city.
The highlight of the visit will be the Shabbos, scheduled for Shabbos Parshas Shemos, two weeks from now. Askanim have already begun working to prepare every detail in the best possible way.
