Teenager Shot at Taylor Whyte Housing Buildings

A developing incident occurred this afternoon around 5:00 p.m. when a fourteen-year-old boy was shot in front of 110 Taylor Street in Williamsburg. 

The NYPD quickly responded to the scene and locked down the area as they searched for the shooter who fled the scene. 

One area resident described hearing “about six shots” ring out during the shooting. 

The victim was transported via EMS to Bellevue Hospital where he remains in stable condition.

The suspect, who has fled to 571 Wythe Avenue, is known to authorities and has a criminal history, including prior arrests for a hate crime and robbery.
