Suspect Arrested After Daytime Break-In on Ross Street

By Y.M. Lowy

NYPD, with the help of Shomrim, arrested a man after he broke into an apartment on Ross Street in broad daylight.

The incident began when the perp attempted to enter the apartment in the middle of the day. A man inside the house noticed the break-in, called Shomrim, and locked the door on the suspect to keep him inside. When the intruder noticed, he climbed out through a window on Williamsburg Street, breaking it in the process, and tried to flee.

Shomrim volunteers caught the suspect at the corner of Lee and Ross Avenue. It is not yet known if anything was stolen or why he targeted this house.
