Subway Disruptions on G Train
By Y.M. Lowy
G train service was stopped between Nostrand Avenue and Fourth Avenue due to a power loss near Jay Street–MetroTech. The G train runs through Williamsburg, and the disruption caused delays for many riders in the area. Church Avenue-bound G trains ended service at Fourth Avenue–Ninth Street.
The MTA advised riders to take the B38 or B103 buses instead.
Other subway lines were also affected. The F train was not running between Manhattan and Brooklyn. The C train was suspended, and the M train faced delays.
