Severe Disruption on F and G Trains Due to NYPD Investigation
By Williamsburg 365 Staff
NYPD is conducting an investigation at the 4th Avenue-9th Street train station, which has led to significant disruptions in service.
This disruption has been compounded by a tragic incident involving a teenager who was killed by a train while subway surfing.
Service on the F and G trains is severely disrupted in both directions. Travelers are advised to avoid these lines and consider alternative routes.
Service Changes:
G Train: No service is available in either direction between Church Avenue and Bedford-Nostrand Avenues.
F Train: Northbound service is suspended from Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue to Jay Street-MetroTech.
Alternatives:
To avoid delays, use the ABCDEMR trains or local buses for your commute. Please plan your journey accordingly and check for updates on the situation.
