In a historic announcement, the Satmar Rebbe will spend Yom Kippur this year at Kiryas Yoel, marking the first time he will lead the Yom Kippur Tefilos in the newly-built Satmar shul.

The announcement was made during the event at the new Shul on Motzei Shabbos.

Askanim in the kehila are currently working on the plans for the Tefilos, anticipating thousands of attendees. Preparations are also underway for the Vaber Shul to accommodate the large crowd.
