Sanzer Chassidim to Mark 80 Years Since Founding of Kehillah by the Klausenberger Rebbe, zt"l
YS GOLD
This Shabbos will see hundreds of Sanzer Chassidim gathered in Williamsburg--the place where it all began--for a Shabbos Hisachdus, gathering for inspiration and togetherness as they will together mark eighty years since the Sanz-Klausenberger Rebbe arrived in America to rebuild from the ashes of the Holocaust.
In the last eight decades, from those humble beginnings in Williamsburg, the chassidus has grown and expanded in centers throughout the world. A major emphasis of the Klausenberger Rebbe--a gaon in his own right--was on Torah, and indeed, the chassidus has produced numerous talmidei chachomim who follow in his path.
A special guest for this Shabbos is the Sanzer Rebbe's son, Avad Sanz in America, who will speak about the life and legacy of his saintly and illustrious grandfather, the Shefa Chaim of Sanz.
