Safety Message in Williamsburg Stores Urges Parents Not to Leave Children in Cars
By Williamsburg 365 Staff
A critical safety message is currently being broadcast in multiple Williamsburg stores and supermarkets, warning parents about the dangers of leaving children in cars, even "for just one minute".
This campaign follows several recent tragedies and near-tragedies during the hot weather. The message emphasizes that a car can become a "burning hot oven on wheels" in just minutes.
The project is an initiative by a collaboration of Williamsburg Hatzalah, Chaveirim, and Shomrim.
This safety awareness is sponsored by the Williamsburg Jewish Council.
