Pupa Tzelim Matzah Bakery Purchases Large New Facility to Expand Operations

By GY

The renowned Pupa Tzelim Matzah Bakery has purchased a large new building in Brooklyn that will serve as its future home, allowing the bakery to expand production while strengthening its long-standing standards of kashrus.

The acquisition comes with the encouragement and blessing of the Pupa Rebbe, who has repeatedly expressed his desire to further enhance the meticulous standards of the bakery, which have been upheld for decades based on the traditions established by his father, the late Pupa Rebbe zt"l.

The Pupa Tzelim Matzah Bakery has been producing mehadrin matzos for Klal Yisroel for many years. The Rebbe personally oversees the kashrus operation, regularly traveling to supervise the wheat harvest and participating in the baking process to ensure the highest level of halachic standards.

In addition to strengthening existing chumros and hidurim, the move is intended to address the bakery's growing demand, as its current facilities have become too limited to meet the needs of the expanding community.

Following months of planning by the bakery's leadership and the Pupa Kehillah administration, a deal has now been finalized for a spacious new building in the Prospect Park area, between Boro Park and Williamsburg. The bakery is expected to relocate there in the near future.

Last week, a meeting was held at the Pupa Rebbe's home, where the next stages of the project were discussed. The Rebbe offered his heartfelt blessings to the organizers and community leaders, wishing them continued success in completing the transition and preparing the new bakery for operation.
