Pre-Pesach Sanitation Plans in Action

By Y.M. Lowy

As Pesach approaches, local askanim have already taken steps to make sure the neighborhood is prepared for the Yom Tov rush.

Rabbi Moshe Indig from the WJCC, Moshe Weiser, Yanky Itzkowitz of Williamsburg Shomrim, and Sam Stern from UJO recently met with the sanitation chief, as well as leaders from the 90th and 79th precincts, to discuss garbage collection preparations ahead of Yom Tov.

The meeting was focused on ensuring the streets stay clean and the garbage removal remains well-organized as the Pesach cleaning season progresses.
