Police Presence Seen In Williamsburg On October 7th

Multiple pro-Palestinian groups were out marching and protesting yesterday, on October 7th, in a despicable show of antisemitism on the anniversary of the day when 1,200 Jews were killed by Hamas. 

To discourage hate crimes or assaults on local Jewish residents, the CO of the 90th Precinct and the community affairs of the 90th Precinct were seen around Williamsburg, stopping in at local shuls and other sensitive locations. 

Their presence was felt and appreciated by all Williamsburg residents, and the day thankfully passed without any incidents.
