Overturned Car Crash Causes Heavy Damage on Gates Avenue

A serious crash on Gates Avenue between Nostrand Avenue and Marcy Avenue left a car overturned after a driver lost control and slammed into multiple parked cars. The impact caused heavy damage along the block and trapped one person inside the vehicle.

NYPD, FDNY, and Emergency Service Unit responders rushed to the scene. ESU members worked to upright the overturned vehicle and safely remove an occupant from inside. EMS treated the injured at the scene before transporting two people to the hospital.
