Overnight Lane Closures Continue on Williamsburg Bridge This Week

Maintenance and rehabilitation work on the Williamsburg Bridge is continuing this week, with overnight rolling lane closures affecting both Brooklyn-bound and Manhattan-bound traffic.

Single lane rolling closures will take place tonight, May 26, and Wednesday night, May 27, from 10:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

The closures will affect both directions of the bridge, with one lane being closed at a time as crews continue ongoing maintenance work.

The nighttime full closure of the Brooklyn-bound outer roadway remains in effect as part of the larger bridge rehabilitation project.

Drivers are advised to expect delays, use caution in the area, and allow for extra travel time during overnight hours.
