Overnight And Weekend G-Train Stops Suspended

By Idy Perl

This summer, the G-train will once again be suspended in Brooklyn and Queens on overnight and weekend routes.

Starting today, July 14, the G-train will not make stops between Bedford-Nostrand Avenues and Court Square from 9:45pm-5pm on weekdays. Starting July 25, the G Trains will not run Bedford-Nostrand Avenues to Court Square from 9:45pm on Fridays to 5am on Mondays.

The trains will be suspended due to a signal modernization project that is in the works, and that shut down the line last summer as well. Once the project is completed, the G trains will run more frequently.

While the G line will be suspended, trains will run between Church Avenue and Bedford-Nostrand Avenues, and a free shuttle bus will run between Court Square and Bedford-Nostrand Avenue.
