Over $100,000 Stolen From Elderly Woman at Williamsburg Bank

Police are searching for a woman accused of fraudulently withdrawing $109,000 from a 91-year-old woman’s bank account at a Citibank in Williamsburg.

The withdrawal was made on October 5 at the Citibank located at 45 Graham Avenue. The victim, a 91-year-old Manhattan woman, did not discover that the money was missing until October 16, when she visited a Citibank branch and discovered the fraudulent activity.

Investigators have not yet said how the suspect was able to gain access to the victim’s account or make the massive six-figure withdrawal.

The NYPD is asking the public for help identifying her. The suspect left the Williamsburg bank after making the withdrawal and has not been seen since.
