The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect accused of using a Brooklyn woman’s personal information to withdraw $12,000 from her bank account.

Police said the 55-year-old victim discovered the theft on June 10 after being notified about several unauthorized transactions. Investigators later determined that someone had allegedly used her information to order a new debit card and withdraw money from multiple Citibank locations across Brooklyn.

The victim still had her original bank card when the withdrawals were made, according to police.

The suspect was captured on surveillance footage at a Citibank location within the 83rd Precinct. The case is being investigated by detectives from the 90th Precinct.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS. Tips may also be submitted online or through @NYPDTips on X. All tips are confidential.
