The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with an 11-burglary pattern targeting commercial establishments across seven Brooklyn precincts between May 8 and July 17.

According to police, the incidents occurred within the confines of the 76th, 77th, 78th, 79th, 83rd, and 94th Precincts. Investigators said the suspect primarily gained entry through basement-level doors before breaking into offices and safes, stealing cash and other property, then fleeing the scene on foot.

Police released images of the suspect obtained during the investigation, along with details from two of the 11 incidents for which media is available.

In one of those cases, police said the suspect entered a commercial establishment at 80 Sixth Avenue in the 78th Precinct at approximately 4:15 a.m. on July 8 after gaining access through a basement door. Once inside, the suspect forced entry into an office and stole approximately $4,000 before fleeing northbound on Bergen Street.

In the second incident released by police, the suspect entered a commercial establishment at 1114 Bedford Avenue in the 79th Precinct at approximately 4:00 a.m. on May 8 through a basement door. Police said the suspect forced entry into an office, stole approximately $1,000, and fled on foot.

The investigation remains ongoing, and anyone with information regarding the suspect or the burglary pattern is asked to contact NYPD Crime Stoppers.
