The NYPD is asking for assistance from the public to identify two individuals who are wanted in connection with an attempted robbery that took place in April.

On Sunday, April 13, two unidentified suspects came up to a 52-year-old man walking near Lafayette Avenue and Classon Avenue in the 79th precinct. The two suspects brandished a knife and demanded the man hand over his cell phone.

They were unable to get the man’s phone and quickly fled the scene on foot. No injuries were reported.

The NYPD are asking anyone with information to contact the police.
