NYC Marathon Spectator Falls To His Death

By Idy Perl

The NYC Marathon was an event that brought together the pretty divided people of New York City as they ran the marathon or cheered from the sidelines. Unfortunately, the event was marred by a tragic accident.

A spectator on 6th Street and Bedford Avenue lost his footing as he was climbing up a third-story fire escape. Police believe he was going up in order to get a better view of the marathon.

The victim was rushed to the hospital in critical condition and succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.
